Remembering Garda Tony Tighe and Garda Michael Padden

                At 6.21a.m., on 14th April 2002, a 999 call was received at Command & Control, Harcourt Square to the effect that there was a burglary taking place at Dalkey, Co. Dublin. A black Mazda was observed leaving the scene. Garda Tony Tighe and Garda Michael Padden, took up a position at the junction of The Rise, Mount Merrion and Stillorgan Road in an effort to intercept the vehicle. Farewell to East Avenue Beech Trees & their resident Bees

A sad farewell to two beautiful mature Beech trees on East Avenue which were felled by the council this weekend.  The trees were diseased and were removed for health and safety reasons.   MMRA has contacted the Council regarding getting these big specimen trees replaced as soon as possible.  Residents can also contact DLRCC directly at environ@dlrcoco.ie attention Lorraine O’Hara.
