Union Cafe response to MMRA appeal to An Bord Pleanala

Tomose Limited who own the Union Café have filed a response to the five appeals to An Bord Pleanala against the decision of DLR CC to grant them planning permission for the redevelopment of their site. The appellants which includes MMRA have until 12th July to respond to the Tomose response. Improvement Works June 2018 – Junction Kilmacud Road/ South Avenue

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council will be carrying out an upgrade of the junction at Lower Kilmacud Road/Upper Kilmacud Road/South Avenue and also extending towards Stillorgan Village as far as the Old Church. Construction is expected to start at the middle of June 2018 and it is envisaged to last for 16 weeks.

Union Café Update – Appeals to An Bord Pleanála

The deadline for submissions of observations to An Bord Pleanála is extended to June 11th. To-date five parties have submitted a formal Appeal. It is open to any resident or interested party to make an observation to the Board of ABP supporting these appeals.

Mount Merrion Annual Clean Up

Thank you to all who helped on Saturday. A dozen large Blue bags of rubbish were collected. Ed Maguire provided free cones to all young participants and Supervalu on the Rise had a Manager and three lads cleaning the weeds and rubbish from the roadway from the roundabout to the shops. A great community effort.
