A new 30 km/hr speed limits came into force in most of Mount Merrion on 4th July 2017.

We have just had a report of a lady in Mount Merrion who this morning recieved a call from a UK telephone number purporting to be from her bank to inform her that a large sum of money had been transferred from her account without authorisation. The caller speaking with an asian accent then sought personal details to enable her to cancel the lady’s cards etc? This was designed to get details of her bank and credit cards. This is a new approach so NEVER giver personal or financial account information to anyone calling...Anti Social Behaviour
Thank you to Garda John O’Shea and Barry Saul for their speedy response to recent anti-social behaviour which saw trees damaged. By the next day an arrest had been made and the 2 broken trees had been replaced!
