I’m afraid that the illegal disposing of Christmas trees has started again. This has been happening for the past three years. A number of trees were dumped outside the locked up depot on Mount Anville Rd. again this year. You may remember this happened last year and some of them blew onto the road due to the bad weather and created a danger for motorists on that bend. I have recently seen some of the abandoned trees on the road. They cannot be seen until one comes over the hill so they are dangerous. Anyone seeing a person dumping a tree there should contact the Gardai.
DLR CC have arranged for Christmas tree recycling to take place from Tuesday 3rd – Sunday 15th January 2017 inclusive between 9.30am and 3.30pm at the following locations: Blackrock Park Main Entrance, Cabinteely Park Car Park,Killiney Hill Car Park, Marlay Park, Grange Road Car Park, DLR Parks Depot, Sandyford Road, (Near Kilcross Estate)
