In an effort to spruce up our kerbs and keep rain gullies clear, we are organising a ‘Roadside Leaf Sweep’ on Saturday November 27th starting at 10.30am.
Two beautiful Acers have been planted in the new large wooden planters purchased by MMRA which front onto Redesdale Road and back onto Thornhill Road. The planters have been underplanted with Spring bulbs, snowdrops, crocus, daffodils, tulips and alliums.
Heroic work done on Saturday with over 500+ plants installed at the top of Redesdale Road. An explosion of colour is promised with Spring daffodils and the summer blues of Agapanthus – a haven for biodiversity and our bumble bees.
Update on MMRA Environment activities over the summer with the help of local volunteers.
