Many of you will know Margaret Barber, the manager of the Community Centre in Mount Merrion.
She has been missing from her home in Mount Merrion since early on Thursday morning 8th August 2024 and Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing her whereabouts.
Margaret is described as being 66 years old, approximately 4 foot 11 inches in height with a medium build. She has brown shoulder length hair and green eyes.
Margaret was wearing a light pink rain jacket, white top and runners. It is believed she was wearing white or navy trousers.
Gardaí and Margaret’s family are concerned for her wellbeing.
Anyone with any information on Margaret’s whereabouts is asked to contact Blackrock Garda Station on 01 666 5200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
Garda Brendan Dowling has asked if anyone has CCTV to look at it for the morning of the 8/08 between the hours of 5.15am to 6am to see if they can find Margaret Barber walking. They need to try and see which direction she took.
The cooperation of the public is crucial in the search for Margaret, and any small piece of information could be key to locating her. Gardaí continue their search efforts and are hopeful that with community assistance, Margaret will be found quickly and safely.
