Meet Insects of Mount Merrion, Support MSF Ukraine – Saturday 9th April 10.30am-12pm

Explore the insect life of Deerpark with Creative Entomologist Nessa Darcy!

Nessa Darcy is a Creative Entomologist whose mission is to reintroduce humans to their natural habitat through colourful encounters with insects: school workshops, outings, surveys for conservation, and art with a focus on flora and fauna.

Join Nessa as she introduces you to the diversity of hoverflies, bees, butterflies, bugs and beetles of Deerpark in Mount Merrion. Learn about their lives and homes, what they need, and why they are so important.  The event is free but donations to support the emergency response to the war in Ukraine are encouraged.

Registration is essential, bookings can be made through Eventbrite.

Please book one ticket for each person attending so we know how many people to expect. Meet at the top of the playground area, near the bicycle racks.

Entry is on a donations basis, with all proceeds going to Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders to support their work in and around Ukraine. There is no minimum/maximum donation, whatever you can afford will make a difference.

Thanks to the Mount Merrion Residents Association Environmental group for their support.
