The Plaza Planters, Mount Merrion’s group of enthusiastic gardeners, have been back in action getting the green spaces in Mount Merrion ready for the Summer. First up was a check on the Heritage Orchard, which continues to grow and flourish in the park thanks to the care of our volunteers.
The monthly neighbourhood Clean Ups continue on the first Tuesday of every month. The next is on Tuesday 5 March. To take part, pop along to the Community Centre car park at 10:30. If you can’t spare the time but want to help, just take a plastic bag out sometime that day and do a quick sweep of your own road for litter. Get your neighbours involved too and make it a monthly habit.
