Dublin’s Victorian Heritage – Lecture by Michael Barry

Venue:        Community Centre, Mount Merrion

Date/Time:  Thursday next, March 3rd, at 8.00pm

During the 63 years of Victoria’s reign, Dublin developed into a curious mixture of impoverished central areas and comfortable middle-class leafy suburbs. During that time, the city’s shape and the pattern of life changed enormously. Michael Barry (author of ‘Victorian Dublin Revealed’) tells the story of Dublin’s Victorian era, illustrated by images of the wide range of Victorian buildings that remain.
