For the past forty+ years Mount Merrion has been Poster free, with the support and cooperation of ALL Political Parties. The agreement has rarely if ever been broken. In recent years the erection of Posters has been subcontracted out to individuals or companies that have no knowledge of the situation. In these cases the Mount Merrion Residents Association has contacted the local Councillors concerned and that usually leads to the immediate removal of the posters. In very isolated cases Posters have remained and were removed by MMRA personnel and the offending party advised.
So any Political Posters seen on Poles within the original Walls of Mount Merrion should be reported to MMRA and we will arrange for them to be removed.
