As part of the dlr Active School Travel iniative, there is a proposed new cycle way that will go through Mount Merrion.
Route proposed: From N11 up Sycamore Crescent through the St Therese Church car park through the lane way at Scoil San Treasa to Deerpark and out through Mount Anville. There will also be a segregated cycle path on the Lower Kilmacud Road.

dlr are seeking views and feedback from the public. The closing date for receipt of submissions is Friday 23rd October 2020. Observations should be clearly marked ‘Active School Travel’.
