Recent Flooding: Trees Road Lower/N11 & South Avenue/Lr Kilmacud Road Junctions

Junction of Trees Road Lower/N11 junction:

  • The MMRA contacted DLRCC Water and Drainage department several times this week regarding the ongoing issue of flooding/ surface water at the junction of Trees Road Lower and the N11, and pedestrian route via Oatlands to Stillorgan Shopping Centre.  DLRCC have assigned the issue to an Environment inspector under case number DLR-CRM 169617.  Pending update from DLRCC.

Junction of South Avenue/ Lower Kilmacud Road

  • Road Flooding 26/11/19 : The MMRA contacted DLRCC Water and Drainage department regarding the ongoing issue of flooding/ surface water at the junction of South Avenue/ Lower Kilmacud Road.  This was resolved on November 27th.
  • Path to Pedestrian Crossing 27/11/19:  MMRA notified the DLRCC regarding the large pool of standing surface water covered by leaves on the pedestrian path.  DLR have assigned this request as a high priority to the Environment section under case reference number: DLR-CRM 169459
  • Path to Pedestrian Crossing 08/12/19:  MMRA notified the DLRCC regarding the large pool of standing surface water covered by leaves on the pedestrian path.  DLR-CRM 169459
