Marlay Park walk for Fr Tony Coote and Motor Neurone Disease, Sat 6th April 9.30am

“Join me for a special Marlay Park walk for Fr Tony Coote and Motor Neurone Disease, 6th April”

I would like to invite you to join Josepha Madigan for a special walk to raise funds for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) at 9.30am on Saturday, 6th April in Marlay Park.

Following his diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease last year, Fr Tony set about walking the length of Ireland to raise money for the IMNDA, as part of a fundraiser entitled “Walk While You Can”. You can learn more about this initiative here: http://wwyc.ie/

Walk While You Can is now so close to reaching its fundraising target, hopefully this walk will help them cross the line. IMNDA is a charity which raises money and awareness for those who suffer from Motor Neurone Disease, helping them adapt their lives after being diagnosed with the neurodegenerative disease. We will also have special IMNDA t-shirts on the day to help raise awareness.

The 5km walk will follow the route of the regular Marlay parkrun, meeting at the back of the park on the path between the lower college road car park and the children’s playground.  No registration necessary!

Donations can be made in advance to Walk While You Can at: https://www.idonate.ie/fundraiser/11368954_walk-while-you-can.html

I would love to see you there on the day. The Facebook event page for the walk is here: https://www.facebook.com/events/2642085562475383/

Kind regards,

Josepha
