The sun shone and the day stayed dry!Thanks to the almost 100 residents who turned including the many little ones came to help. Our Public Representatives, Gerry Horkan, Deirdre Donnelly, Shane Ross, Josepha Madigan, Liam Dockery and Barry Saul all donned our MMRA bibs, put on gloves and filled(to a greater or lesser extent!) blue bags.In all about 60 Blue Bags were filled. Mount Merrion is looking good heading into summer! Can we ask that everyone especially those who could not come today try to keep our lovely area looking like it is this evening.Thanks again to Clare Kelly who did an outstanding job in organising the event and to our sponsors Ed Dempsey of REA Estate Agents and Martin and Ed McGuire Newsagents.
