Planters

Recently DLR CoCo arrived with a consignment of planters to replace the bowls which we procured in 2011. Some of the new planters are double decker and some such as those on the South Ave/Trees Road roundabout are raised singles. They are bright and colourful and will add to the attractiveness of the area. We have not ascertained from the Council who will maintain and water them. Our recent experience with the Council on this subject was less than satisfactory so hopefully they will assume responsibility for the watering, but don’t hold your breath. If you live near one of these colourful planters perhaps you would consider giving them a dash from your watering can every now.
